The future trends of the use of composite reinforcement in the construction

The article discusses the prospects of a new modern material - composite reinforcement in construction, its variants, history of use, advantages and disadvantages compared with metal reinforcement, the field of rational use in compositionin designs. It is noted that in reinforced concrete structures everywhere to replace the steel reinforcement for composite impossible. Because of the existing price ratio of steel reinforcement with the use of composite appropriate and effective only in case it is necessary to use its properties, which steel possesses: chemical resistance, transparent to radio waves, dielectric properties. It is noted that to increase the wide application of composite reinforcement in construction: development standards regulating requirements for the quality of reinforcement, mechanical properties, and methods of control; development of construction standards, regulating the rules of calculation and design of compositionin designs and sets requirements for controlled parameters in the limiting conditions; preparation of proposals for evaluating the performance of a periodic profile of the armature; the development of standard solutions that ensure the required level of fire resistance compositionin structures; standardization of roll-formed products, development of rules for their acceptance.
