Abstract
The aim of the study was to show how the dominance of protococcal algae (chlorella Chlorella vulgaris GKO) improves water quality when using fish feed and what conditions need to be observed in order to directionally manage algocenosis when breeding pond fish. It is noted that fish and other hydrobionts during breeding release carbon dioxide CO2 into the reservoir, which is used by chlorella. The study used «Algotec Aqua» biological product containing the Chlorella vulgaris GKO planktonic strain at a concentration of 50 million cells per 1 ml, and symbiotic bacteria that together destroy organic matter in an aqueous medium. Options for treating water contaminated with fish feed were studied. It was experimentally shown that the concentration of cells after 20 days of the experiment was higher than in other versions, and the water became transparent. The study concludes that chlorella in aquaculture provides a more sustainable approach to meet the challenges of safe eating.
